- Choose your language. The tab key will move the cursor to the OK button:

- Select your keyboard type:

- Select “FTP” as your installation method:

- Configure TCP/IP. I use DHCP:

- Place the hostname or ip address of the server which is hosting your install images in the “FTP site name” field. Place the $CENTOS_INSTALL_ROOT in the “CentOS directory” field:

- The installer will retrieve the needed images from the server:

- Welcome to the installer:

- Installing will erase everything on the hard drive:

- I am selecting to remove all paritions and to use the default partition layout:

- Are you sure you want to delete everything?

- I am choosing to review the partition layout:

- Looks good to me:

- I want to use the GRUB boot loader:

- No extra kernel options:

- I do not want to use a GRUB password:

- I am not dual booting this machine:

- Since I am not dual booting and using GRUB as the boot loader, I want to install it on the MBR:

- When the machine boots, I want to use DHCP to obtain an IP address:

- I am going to set my hostname to “darkhorse”:

- What time zone is the machine located in:

- Set root password:

- The installation is retrieving available packages:

- Here is the default packages to be installed, I will keep the defaults:

- While adding “Server - GUI” and “Virtualization”:

- Dependency check:

- The install will begin shortly:

- Formatting the new root file system:

- Please wait:

- The install is taking place:

- Done! Reboot:

- The new OS is booting:

- “Setup Agent” starts the first time you boot. I just chose to exit:
